We have been blessed to have you in our arms for the past 6 months. You are such a sweet boy and growing so much everyday! Here are some pictures (since I never seem to update this thing!) of some things you have been doing or that have happened this last month or so.
You had some fluid in your ears and kept tugging on them but stayed super sweet!

Auntie Gracie came to visit

As well as uncle Jackson

You scooted a little while auntie Grace was here then decided rolling was WAY faster. It has been a year since your nana went to Heaven and you have given me a smile still every single day. We love you more than you know.

7 months!
At seven months you surprised us and randomly went from not getting on your knees at all to doing it like you had been doing it for months! (you do it if we set you up on them or from the sitting position) You are starting to go from sitting to your hands and knees and rocking back an forth. Then you fall onto your little tummy and act like you're swimming ;)You lunge from the crawling position but don't really scoot yet. Instead you roll from side to side with your arm stretched out as far as you can reach. You get to where you want to go by doing this along with rolling everywhere like a champ! You have learned to open drawers and you pull yourself up! You stand holding onto things...auntie swears you'll walk before you crawl. You aren't interested in crawling and would rather stand like a big boy!

8 months!
You weigh 17 pounds 3 ounces and are just as cute as ever! This month we went to visit our Missouri family. You threw up the day before but seemed better so we decided to go. The dr thought you had a 24 hr bug and when we left you were smiling and happy (as usual). When we landed in Denver you vomited everywhere and had a fever. You were falling asleep sitting up and just weren't yourself at all. Your cheeks were bright red and we were so sad for you. By the time we got you to KC you were miserable. You wouldn't stop vomiting and had diarrhea. We couldn't keep anything in you and you were so lethargic that when we took you to the children's e.r. the nurse rushed you back and you wouldn't really wake up until mommy started calling your name and crying. Long story short : they think you had rotovirus (which you were vaccinated for...thats a whole other post!) and they did an xray and found your abdomen totally filled with gas. You were put on zofran to stop the vomiting and after 6 days of vomiting and 7 days of diarrhea you were better! It was horrible watching you go through that...I didn't sleep...I walked you around all night...and I cried a LOT. I would have done anything to just make you better! Thank God for His healing...you recovered and gave mommy and daddy lots of kisses! =)
